Groove Picks

I am currently serving the engineering lead for Groove Picks, a group that developed a moldable guitar pick.  I designed the prototype and established a small-scale, low cost method to manufacture them. Groove Picks was one of eight finalist in the Tufts 100k New Ventures Competition, accepted into the Harvard Business School's Venture Incubation Program, and successfully funded on Kickstarter. We are now selling online.

 

Bend: 3D Wire Bender

BEND is the end result of my Senior Capstone class. My team was tasked with developing a reliable 3D Wire Bender over the course of one semester. I was primarily responsible for design, fabrication, and assembly of the physical product. A full report can be downloaded here.

Rover Writer

Rover Writer is a first generation drawing robot created for my Advanced Robotics class. Programming for the myRIO was completed in LabVIEW. We are currently working on a second generation. More information can be found at the -project website below.

Desktop CNC Clamp

This clamp was 3D printed on the Mark Two, a printer capable of continuous carbon fiber printing. It was designed to withstand clamping and bending forces and to yield if the CNC ran into it. This is one of a number of projects for which I've utilized the Mark Two carbon fiber printing.
